Another Great Day at FOTP

Sunday, 19 October 2008 13:35 by Charles

I was actually speaking at our Keller campus today.  Our senior pastor Doug Walker spoke at FOTP Grapevine where we had over 100 adults in attendance and 32 kids.  Many of our regulars brought nieghbors and family with them.  God is definitely moving.  I am looking forward to being back this coming Sunday as we continue the Surviving Life's Disastors series by taking a look at what God's word has to say about Depression.

Friday Pat and I went to see the movie Fireproof.  It was clean, inspiring and overall a great movie.  I recommend it highly.  It was produced by Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Ga.  This is thier third movie and God is truly using this church to touch the world.  Check out Fireproof

Charles,

I didn't know if you knew this or not but Provident Music Group did the production of this after the church in Albany did it. They did "Facing the Giants" also. I think Randy said that he had shown it to about 18 different groups over this past summer. He said that the Arch Diocese of the Boston and New York really liked it and were reccomending that their people go see it. He said Lifeway would have a great challenge when the Catholics start coming in and purchasing those journals that they would be selling.
It was good to see you and Pat on Thursday night.
