Concentric Circles of Concern by Oscar Thompson changed my life.  I read this book almost 30 years ago (there is a new version out) in one afternoon.  My life has never been the same.  It is a simple practical look at loving people and reaching them with the good news of God’s love.

Dr. Oscar Thompson was a professor of evangelism at Southwestern Theological Seminary in the 1980’s.  He died of cancer.  I heard his last public sermon when he spoke at First Baptist Church of Euless, Texas.  I look forward to getting to heaven and letting him know how he impacted my life.

More than any other book I have ever read other than the Bible this book inspired me to want to reach others with the gospel.  I can’t say this about many books but I can about this one –every Christian should read it.  I have read it at least 6 times.
